Success requires communication. SCI prides itself on listening to clients to learn from them what they want as projects unfold. Here, we are at our best. We completely understand the roadway development process and the timing of when to integrate the public effectively into the technical work effort. Our excellent communication skills allow us to articulate complex transportation designs. With years of experience, we know that this is the key to providing context-sensitive solutions: the public is part of the context.

 SCI has solid skills in developing programs that promote community partnering, public outreach, interagency coordination, and public awareness.

Sycamore has proven proficiency with public involvement and consensus building as evidenced by our work on the Hartsfield Master Plan, EIS for the extension of the 5th Runway at Hartsfield, public involvement associated with master plan development at Asheville Regional Airport, and completion of a Part 150 Study for Gulfport-Biloxi Airport. We understand that excellent communication skills are imperative when dealing with sensitive airport issues (noise abatement and increased operational activity, for example), and we facilitate just that kind of communication.
